It is that time again. Daylight savings when the day get dark at 6pm and all will to exercise goes out the window. The gym is hard to keep up when the sun is shining and the birds are out and the world is a wonderful place. Let alone when its cold, dark and miserable.
I am a gym floozy. I flirt with it quite strongly for the first two, three months then slowly my interest dwindles away and any excuse is good enough not to go.
Eg: Its too nice a day to be inside a gym.
Its too cold to go all the way to the gym.
I ate a cookie today. All that exercise would be to work of that one cookie. What the point. I might as well eat another cookie...or four.
You get the picture. So as my gym membership comes to an end I find myself going YAY! No more gym guilt. No more wasted money. No more sweat and greasy gym hair. Seriously I'm painting a delightful picture of myself as I usually do. Gym Olivia is not a pretty sight. And the problem is their are mirrors everywhere. So while lovely toned, tanned girls are working out and looking like a supermodel I am red faced, pale and smelly and can't escape my reflection.
So what I'm trying to say is, Gym its been fun, you helped me and I want to thank you for that but I just don't think its working out. Its not you, its me. I just can't handle winter let alone having to work out during it. I hope we can still be friends.
