Last Saturday was going good. A couple of my friend and I hung out at the beach for a few hours then decided to go home freshen up and head out for dinner at a restaurant that overlooked the beach. Again all was going good we had some delicious unhealthy food. ( I myself indulged in a pesto pasta) Then to rid ourselves of that bloated feeling we walked along the peir enjoying the simpler life. Kids jumping into the water, the younger ones being thrown in. A beautiful sunset filled with colour filled us with a feeling that only sunsets like that give. We hitched up our dresses and waded into the still water under the peir and just felt content.
Then we decided to push our luck and go to a bar near by. Firstly we had to pay $ 10 door entry which starts at 9pm, it was exactly 9pm then once we were in we discovered it was DEAD. Nobody in sight. We stuck it out for another 1 1/2 hours before we called it quits. Walking into that bar was the worst decision we'd made that day and all the good feelings from the beach evaporated as the alcohol began to take a turn for depression-ville. So I guess the lesso here is happiness is free and paying door entry sucks.
